Honda's mild facelift of the CR-V in 2010 was just that--mild. So to spice things up this year, the Japanese carmaker has decided to introduce a brand-new variant to the Philippine automotive market that's been fitted with a Modulo Sports Plus Edition kit.
As the first Modulo-edition vehicle in the Philippines, the CR-V Modulo Sports Plus variant, as it is known, has an aggressive yet sophisticated styling that was "carefully designed to keep up with diverse lifestyles."
The CR-V Modulo Sports Plus is basically a mid-level 2.0-liter Honda CR-V that's been fitted with a front and rear lower garnish, fog lamps, a sports pipe finisher and a base carrier roof rack to give it a more muscular and tougher stance.
It's not only the CR-V's exterior that's been given an upgrade. Its already polished interior also gets steering wheel audio controls with metallic accents, a sun visor vanity light, six-disc audio system with a six-speaker setup, dual automatic air conditioning controls, outside temperature indicator, front seat rear under tray and a double deck cargo tray.
The CR-V Modulo Sports Plus also promises a more relaxed and serene trip as it has received additional seals and insulators to reduce the vehicle's noise, vibrations and harshness levels.
As an original Honda accessories brand, the CR-V Modulo Sports Plus retain's the nameplate's high quality performance as Modulo accessories "make use of only premium materials and applies precision styling in its designs in order to enhance the over-all form and function of Honda vehicles."
The CR-V Modulo Sports Plus retails for P1.390 million. Current CR-V owners who'd like to spruce up their vehicles with the Modulo Sports Plus accessories simply need P65,000 for the package.
