With a floor area of over 83,000sqm, the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show is huge. And as with any car show that counts manufacturers and distributors as exhibitors, vehicle sales play a massive part in the 10-day event. For this year, as a matter of fact, Indonesia is targeting local car sales of 1.2 million units. By comparison, the Philippines' target this year is a humble 250,000 units.
Anyway, we've selected the best photos of cars on display at the Jakarta show, and we hope that some of these will eventually find their way to our market. Let us know which ones you'd like to see on our roads, just in case our local auto manufacturers and distributors can make things happen. After all, back in 2011, the Honda Brio wasn't supposed to be made available as a left-hand-drive model, and yet its official launch was held at the just-concluded Philippine International Motor Show.
Enjoy the photos!
