ACMobility has opened one of its biggest charging stations right along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. Located in U.P. Town Center, the EV charging station can accommodate six vehicles with varying degrees of charging power.
This station will not only power private vehicles, but support the growing popularity of e-jeepneys and other electric PUVs around the area. Universities and other institutions around Katipunan Avenue have been adopting the use of electric shuttles to give commuters more options in mobility.

Drivers will have three options for charging at this station: one 120kW charger, two 22kW chargers, and two 7kW chargers. This range gives drivers more flexibility with their driving and power consumption habits. And with ACMobility set to start collecting fees for the use of its charging stations, drivers will also have more flexibity in paying for their EV charging.
ACMobility also collaborated with Meralco, the local government of Quezon City, and the University of the Philippines in erecting this station to foster a stronger infrastructure for public transportation and greener mobility.

Quezon City has already pledged its commitment by adding eight electric buses to its already free QCity Bus service. Meanwhile, Meralco and ACMobility have agreed to continue to work together and set up more EV charging stations throughout the country.
Before the end of 2024, ACMobility aims to have at least 200 charging points in about 100 different stations.
