Berjaya Auto Philippines, the distributor of Mazda vehicles in the Philippines, recently held its annual dealers conference. As is usually the practice for such events, the affair coincided with the preview of an all-new model it is bringing to the market soon. That vehicle is the all-new Mazda 3.
At the event, both hatchback and sedan models of the Mazda 3 were on display. Unfortunately, the cars weren’t Philippine-specification units yet. However, while production of the Mazda 3 has just recently started in Thailand, Berjaya Auto Philippines corporate communications supervisor Sherlyn Co has personally confirmed with TopGear.com.ph that the local-market units will be sourced from Mazda’s Hofu plant in Japan.
So, with the all-new Mazda 3’s launch just a couple of months away--as mentioned by no less than Berjaya Auto Philippines chief executive Steven Tan a couple of weeks ago--are you now holding off on your next car purchase?
