In case you didn’t know, May is Road Safety Month. It’s an unfortunate reality that, whether on two or four wheels, motoring carries inherent risks. Irresponsible drivers, slipshod infrastructure, and other factors beyond our control all pose dangers while we’re out on the road.

And beyond external factors, internal mechanical defects in our own vehicles can also cause breakdowns at the worst times. With modern technology and materials, the risks have been reduced significantly, but it’s never zero.

To highlight this fact, AXA Philippines produced a short film as part of its Everyday Protectors campaign.

As seen in the ad, mechanical failure can strike any time—even at a moment as critical as the drive to your daughter’s wedding. Through no fault of your own, you could be put in a bad spot if your car decides to go out on you.

Thankfully, AXA 24/7 roadside assistance helped the protagonist out. While nothing can be done about the car at the moment, AXA handles it for the time being to make sure his daughter makes it to her big day on time.
