Chery inaugurates its newest dealership in Cebu City

Chery Auto Philippines has just opened its latest dealership in Cebu City. Located at the corner of Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue and J. Panis Street in Barangay Banilad, the full-service facility is now open to serve Cebuanos around the area.

Right away, the showroom floor has more than enough space for the latest Chery offerings. For new and existing customers, the working area at the back features five service bays, where regular maintenance and repair services can be performed.

Chery Cebu is officially operated by Pacific Autoworld, a member of the Borromeo Group of Companies. The organization brings over 25 years of experience to the Chery dealership network and its new constituents in Cebu.

At the inauguration, Franz Decloedt, brand head at Chery Auto Philippines, explained the importance of the new dealer: “The launch of Chery Cebu reflects our continued efforts to strengthen our presence in key markets across the country and bring the Chery brand closer to more Filipino motorists.

Chery Cebu opens at an opportune time for the brand, as it continues to post positive sales numbers. The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines has listed Chery as the 18th best-selling carmaker in the country, after selling 981 units in the first half of 2026. In May alone, Chery marked a promising 82% year-on-year increase as it shifted 202 cars.
