Ford Philippines has officially operationalized its Mobile Service Vehicles (MSVs) across its service centers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Blue Oval owners now have the option to have their vehicles serviced at home or any other feasible location.
The MSVs can perform a full periodic maintenance service, among other quick fixes and minor repairs. Currently, Ford has 10 units distributed among its dealers all over the country, and owners can avail themselves of the mobile service by calling their local service center or through an online booking process.
An MSV is a Ford Ranger equipped with diagnostic tools, spare parts, vehicle fluids, and even a wheel balancer. Ford calls it a ‘service bay on wheels.’

Packing in all that equipment, parts, and of course, certified technicians from official Ford service centers, an MSV can do an oil change, parts and battery replacement, tire rotation, software updates, and many more. Ford promises at least two technicians will be sent with every MSV booking to ensure an efficient and smooth service.
Being an on-the-go offering, the MSV is meant to support the varied and busy lifestyles of various Ford owners by eliminating the need to visit a service center. While most customers will likely book an MSV to their homes, the service can also be availed in office parking lots, nearby vacation spots, and other locations owners may find themselves in.
At the MSV launch, a Ford Territory was given a 20,000km PMS outside the clubhouse in San Lorenzo, Makati. The service was completed in less than two hours by two technicians from Ford Makati.
