These funds were designated by Vingroup for the local government in coordination with local authorities and directed toward priority recovery programs identified by each locality. In addition, the program also offered direct support for families who lost loved ones in the calamity, through financial assistance of P100,000 for each fatality as a gesture of solidarity.

“The losses suffered by the people of Mindanao as a result of this earthquake are immense. During challenging times like these, we believe that the collective efforts of businesses and communities can help provide additional resources, hope, and encouragement for those affected,” said Vingroup director of investment and external relations Dao Quy Phi. “As Vietnamese companies with long-term investments and operations in the Philippines, we are committed to standing alongside local authorities and communities in the recovery process, supporting efforts to rebuild lives and strengthen affected communities.”

“IPC believes that being a responsible corporate citizen means standing beside our communities, especially during difficult times,” stated Isuzu Philippines assistant vice president for administration Imelda Bernas. “Through this relief initiative, we hope to provide not only essential supplies but also encouragement and reassurance to the families of Barangay Burias as they recover from the effects of the earthquake. We are grateful to our partners at Isuzu General Santos and the Barangay Local Government Unit for making this meaningful initiative possible.”

“We would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the victims of the recent earthquake,” shared Honda Foundation and Honda Cars Philipppines president Hidekazu Arai. “Through this donation, Honda hopes to remind the community that they are in our thoughts. We would like to help ease their burdens and we hope for everyone’s swift recovery.”
