By 2050, Honda is targeting to achieve zero collision fatalities involving any of its vehicles worldwide. The brand’s Honda Sensing advanced driver-assist systems and its motorcycle safety features are part of its strategy to reach this goal, along with educational programs to promote road safety awareness across different sectors and age groups.
The ‘Kids on Safety’ program is one such effort, targeted toward kids aged seven to 10 years old. It was launched on January 31, 2026, by Honda Foundation (HFI) in partnership with Tamang Ride PH. The two-weekend activity was held at Tanza Elementary School in Navotas City.

Aside from educating kids to practice safe behavior and habits on the road, HFI also donated 100 helmets for the kids to emphasize the importance of helmet use from an early age.
HFI’s partnership with Tamang Ride PH began in 2025, with Honda joining as a road safety ambassador. “Honda believes that road safety is a shared goal and should be done as early as possible, whether at home or within the school,” HFI’s statement reads. “This ensures that these children will grow to be more conscious and mindful, protecting themselves and those around them.”
