Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) has launched its N Hyper Chargers at the Nürburgring in Germany. The two chargers will offer ultra-fast EV charging for driving enthusiasts at the Green Hell, making high-performance EV experiences more accessible.

The two chargers feature four charging points, allowing for vehicles to charge simultaneously. They have a maximum 400kW DC output, and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, as tested on the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N. Racers don’t need an N car to use the facilities, though, because the chargers work with all brands of EVs, not just Hyundai.

The N Hyper Chargers are located at the Tourist Drive entrance and began operations on March 14, 2026. HMC’s initiative is part of the company’s roadmap to making a complete performance ecosystem for the EV era. The installation at the Nürburgring marks the first global expansion of the company’s high-performance charging, following its debut at the Inje Speedium in South Korea in 2023.
