Isuzu holds its position as the top PH truck brand for 26th year

After securing a 42.2% market share in 2025, Isuzu Philippines has officially maintained its position as the country’s top truck brand for the 26th consecutive year. The Japanese automaker also posted a 4.4% year-on-year growth in sales with 4,794 trucks sold.

With all of these achievements, Isuzu ended 2025 with another triple crown in sales, asserting market dominance in the light-, medium-, and heavy-duty truck segments.

achieving another triple crown reflect the deep trust Filipino customers place in Isuzu,” said Isuzu Philippines president Mikio Tsukui. “This trust is earned not only through product reliability, but through our commitment to providing a complete ownership experience before, during, and long after the sale.”

The majority of those were attributed to category three or light-duty trucks, with 2,814 units shifted. Isuzu’s popular N-Series is arguably its strongest competitor in this segment, as it can be equipped with a convenient automated-manual transmission.

Isuzu N-Series

Isuzu’s F-Series then helped the brand achieve a 44.6% market share in category four, or the medium-duty truck segment. Overall, the brand recorded 1,647 vehicles sold in this class, marking a significant growth over its 2024 sales figures.

Isuzu also shook up category five or the heavy-duty truck class, by posting a 36% year-on-year growth rate with 333 vehicles sold. Those sales were driven by the S-Series and E-Series trucks, which gathered an impressive 37.5% share in this segment.
