There are no official numbers on what percentage of Suzuki Jimnys out there are modified, but it feels like half of all Jimnys sold have been upgraded in one way or another. This has created a booming aftermarket industry for those who want to personalize their beloved Suzuki 4x4s.
To celebrate the vibrant Jimny aftermarket community, Jimny Hub, a subsidiary brand of Rugged Rigs, held the first StreetShow Garage event at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig.
Suzuki Philippines showed its support to the event by being a co-presenter. Top management led by Suzuki Philippines director and general manager for automobile division Norihide Takei were in attendance to thank the Jimny community.

“I want to express our heartfelt thanks to the Jimny Hub for bringing together all the amazing companies that help make the Jimny experience so exciting for our customers. Your dedication and passion are what make events like this possible,” said Takei.

At the event, Suzuki Philippines offered attendees the chance to get behind the wheel of the all-new Jimny 5-Door. Two Jimny 5-door units were made available for test drives, allowing attendees to experience what it’s like to drive the iconic off-roader. Suzuki Philippines’ representatives were also present during the event to address both sales and technical inquiries from potential customers.
For those who missed out on this event, The Jimny Hub said it will hold its JimnyFest in February 2025 in Nueva Ecija, so watch out for that.
