MG and its local distributor, SAIC Motor Philippines (SMPH), are offering 30% discounts on parts to owners of flood-damaged vehicles. This comes after three typhoons and the southwest monsoon winds brought heavy rains and flooding to localities all over the Philippines.
The discount is honored at all MG dealerships around the country, and owners have until August 31, 2025, to purchase discounted parts. Owners are also prompted to inquire about parts availability and other concerns through MG PH’s 24/7 customer support channels.

Just last month, the Chinese carmaker launched its refreshed flagbearer, the ZS Hybrid+, along with three other variants to bolster the ZS nameplate for 2025. With a price tag of P1.328 million, it stands as one of the most competitively priced hybrid vehicles in today’s market.
Other variants of the 2025 MG ZS start at just P948,000, also reinvigorating the brand’s stake in the popular subcompact crossover segment.
That nameplate and segment are likely the reasons why MG and SMPH retained their position as one of the top car brands in the Philippines. As of June 2025, the brand has sold 4,632 vehicles, and that was before the release of the new ZS. It’ll be interesting to see how MG and its ZS crossover will close out the year.
