Mitsubishi has confirmed that it will be premiering a new electric crossover concept at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show (JMS) later this month. Just last week, the Japanese carmaker announced that a new concept vehicle will be on display, embodying the theme of ‘Forever Adventure.’

And adventurous it is, as the new concept is said to have a cabin fit for in-car sleeping, virtually turning “any destination into a glamping retreat.” The exact size and specifications of the vehicle have yet to be revealed, but if it can accommodate at least four adults (judging from the teaser image), then we could be looking at a new full-size SUV.

The brand also confirmed that it will pack “all-wheel-drive technologies” fit for rugged terrain—indicating a dual or even quad-motor setup.

Finally, the concept is said to be highly customizable to individual preferences and lifestyles. Mitsubishi didn’t give a clear example of what can be configured in the new vehicle, but all will be revealed in due time.

The concept will be presented alongside other cars that also hope to inspire adventure. This includes the Triton that won the 2025 Asia Cross Country Rally and the adorably rugged Delica D:5.

The Top Gear Philippines team will be flying out to JMS 2025 soon and will be checking out vehicles like these right from the show floor. Watch this space, and check out our social media channels for the latest updates.
