Calling all bikers out there

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield--one of the world's oldest-running motorcycle manufacturers--will be opening its very first exclusive store in Metro Manila this weekend, making the company's lineup of scene-stealing two-wheelers available to Filipino customers in the country's capital. The new store will be located at 7462 Bagtikan Street in San Antonio Village, Makati City.

The store opening is in line with the company's vision to become the global leader in the midsize motorcycle segment. Among the bikes making their way into the new dealership are the Bullet, the Classic, the Rumbler and the Cafe Racer. The establishment will also offer customers the brand's array of purpose-built gear, apparel and accessories.

Royal Enfield said in a statement that it is placing great importance in the Philippine market due to the latter's dependence on motorcycles for both commuting and recreational purposes. The motorcycle brand specifically cited the growing middle class as one of its targets.

We wrote about a Royal Enfield Classic 500cc that was up for grabs a while back. And based on the comments the article received on social media, Filipinos really seem to appreciate the classic appeal of the brand.

Anyone here planning to buy one? You'll definitely have no trouble standing out while riding one of these babies.
