Nismo is extending its presence beyond Japan, starting with Australia. Nissan’s performance arm will be using the Nissan Ferntree Gully dealership in the state of Victoria to set up a Nismo Performance Center, bringing the expertise of the famed Nismo Omori Factory closer to local customers.
Yutaka Sanada, global head of the Nismo brand, commented on the choice of Australia as the first location for expanding the performance marque: “Nismo’s global expansion is about bringing the brand closer to customers in the right markets, with the right products, services and experiences.”

“Australia is a natural priority because of its mature performance culture, strong GT-R community and clear appetite for authentic Nismo heritage, performance parts, technical expertise and motorsport-driven experiences,” Sanada added.
