Remember when Nissan redesigned its logo in 2020? The new badge, conceptualized with digitalization and electrification in mind, was first revealed on the fully-electric Ariya crossover back in July. It’s not a drastic redesign, but instead takes the previous version and adapts it into one that conveys “breakthroughs in science, technology, and connectivity.”

Now, it graces the facade of the Japanese carmaker’s latest dealership in Valenzuela City—the first in the country and the ASEAN region to use the new logo. Located on MacArthur Highway, Nissan Valenzuela is a 1,000sqm facility that has space for five car displays and four service bays.

“The new logo signals the evolution of Nissan as not only a traditional vehicle manufacturer to a provider of mobility and services,” says Atsushi Najima, Nissan Philippines president and managing director. “Now appearing in our newest dealership in Valenzuela City, this marks the latest chapter in our commitment to make the brand more accessible to more people in more areas in the Philippines through dealer expansion.”

Other dealerships that have adopted the new logo are Nissan Mantrade Makati, Nissan Shaw, and Nissan San Fernando.

The use of the new badge, which highlights the brand’s electric, self-driving, and connectivity tech, comes at a good time, too, as Nissan Philippines has confirmed that it will be launching the Leaf on May 9.
