Jaecoo is setting up its next move after its attendance at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, where it previewed the J5 EV. This new fully electric offering will be launched later this month.
In anticipation of said launch, Jaecoo has now expanded further into South Luzon through two new dealerships in Cavite. These locations are also shared with its sister company, Omoda.

The new locations are located in Kawit (under Evision Auto) and Dasmariñas (under Central Auto Resources, Inc), and were inaugurated back-to-back. These new Omoda and Jaecoo dealerships make sales, support, and service of the Chinese brands’ electrified lineup more accessible in the region.

At the grand opening of these dealerships, Omoda and Jaecoo brought out special guests for the occasion: its humanoid robot Aimoga and the four-legged Robodog. As a refresher, the Jaecoo J5 EV makes around 208hp and 288Nm of torque, and is rated for 461km of range. It maintains the familiar boxy silhouette of its hybrid counterpart, the J5 SHS-H but has subtle styling revisions to accomodate for its electric powertrain. An official sticker price has not been made available as of writing, but indicative pricing is pegged at P1.4 million.
