Top Gear Philippines August issue

It's that time of the year again, when we do our annual ode to environmental awareness. For the eighth iteration of our Green Issue, we have the all-new Lexus NX hybrid on the cover. The NX is Lexus’s first foray into the compact crossover segment, one of the fastest-growing categories in the automotive industry.

Other green stories we tackle include a date with the Tesla Model S, a trip to pristine Palawan using Kia vehicles, and a serious look at BMW’s amazing i8. These articles show that fun doesn't come at the cost of being eco-friendly.

We also test fuel-sipping vehicles like the Toyota Yaris 1.3, the Hyundai Grand i10 1.2, and the Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost. Any of these small cars can deliver driving enjoyment without increasing your gasoline bills.

The fact that there is no shortage of test drives and topics with a green slant, is proof that the motoring industry is more conscious about the impact of emissions on the planet. And we try to do our share by highlighting these eco initiatives with this annual special issue.
