Electric vehicle owners should now have an easier time locating an EV charger and paying for the charging fee with the integration of Shell Recharge stations into the Evro network. With this, the oil company’s EV chargers are now visible in the Evro app, which aims to be a “unified platform” that allows for easy access to major charge point operators in the country.

The initial rollout of the partnership on July 10 covers 10 Shell Recharge stations. These are:

By September this year, all Shell Recharge stations in the country will be fully integrated into the Evro network.

Via the Evro app, users can locate available charge points in their vicinity. They will be able to see the real-time status of each charge point and check its compatibility with their vehicle. Starting, stopping, and paying for EV charging may all be done via the app, which promises smooth interoperability with the charge points of all partner operators.

Evro is under ACMobility, a leading player in the EV charging network expansion with its ‘Philippine EV Spine’ network that currently has 100 charging hubs in the country. Mike Ramolete, Shell Pilipinas vice president and general manager for mobility and convenience, said: “Shell supports the energy transition and innovation in the country. Our partnership with Evro brings us closer to our vision to make electrified mobility accessible for every Filipino by making EV charging more straightforward, easier to find, and more convenient.”
