Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has introduced a new vehicle warranty program that will cover five years of ownership. The new program includes all Toyota vehicles purchased from January 1, 2025, and beyond. Vehicles purchased through Kinto One or Kinto One Business beginning the same period, will also be given the extended warranty.
Originally, Toyota vehicles were sold with three-year or 100,000km warranty plans. Vehicles with those plans may still avail of the new extended warranty program on a couple of conditions.
To qualify for the extended warranty, Toyota owners with the old three-year plans need to get at least six periodic maintenance service (PMS) appointments at any Toyota dealer, with at least one visit each year during the first three years or 100,000km. This will grant the owner a full warranty for a fourth year, with the same benefits and coverage.

If the owner can make two PMS appointments in the fourth year, then they will be given a fifth year or a 20,000km extension on their warranty with full coverage. Owners who book one or no PMS appointments will be given limited coverage.
For Toyota owners who are or were not able to book six PMS appointments, they will still get a fourth year of warranty but with limited coverage as well. Suspension, steering, and brake system parts with wear and tear will not be included under limited coverage.
