Xpeng Philippines has officially announced it will launch in September 2026. The Chinese carmaker teased that a “grand public event” will mark its official entry into the local market, immediately offering Filipinos a chance to experience its vehicles.
And as previously reported, those first products will be the L03 compact crossover and the X9 MPV. While the X9 has been around for quite some time, the L03 is a relatively new product for the brand.

The crossover made its formal debut in July, with fully electric and range-extended options. The Philippines will likely see both versions, and prices are expected to start at well under P2 million. With the L03, Xpeng takes aim at the Tesla Model Y and competitively priced electric crossovers.

At the same time, the seven-seater X9 will enter the luxury MPV arena, which is currently occupied by the Denza D9, the Li Auto Mega, and other similar vehicles. However, the X9 should have a leg up, with its indicative price of P4.5 million.

Both vehicles are also expected to offer comprehensive AI capability through advanced safety features, an onboard voice assistant, and other additional functions. A standout feature will be its autonomous driving technology, which we’ve experienced on public roads in Guangzhou, China.
While it isn’t clear if this technology will be available at launch, Xpeng is committed to delivering an AI-forward mobility experience to interested car buyers in the Philippines. Watch this space for the latest updates.
