Lexus to debut all-new IS at 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Lexus has announced that it will debut its all-new IS at the 2013 staging of the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Though Toyota's luxury car brand didn't reveal any technical specification or even just a photo of its newest contender in the luxury compact car segment, it did say that its design is inspired by the LF-CC concept car (pictured above), which debuted at the Paris Motor Show in October, and that it will feature some design cues from the LFA supercar.

Now, didn't we say that the LF-CC at the Paris Motor Show looked "ready to go into production"?
