Mercedes-Benz is recalling units of the 2011 E-Class, GL-Class, M-Class and R-Class due to leaking fuel filters.
In a report filed by Mercedes-Benz with the United States’ National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the German carmaker said the “O-ring may not have been properly lubricated,” which could result to fuel leaking onto the roads, making them slippery and unsafe for other drivers.
CATS Motors, authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Philippines, has yet to confirm whether or not the locally-sold German cars are affected by the recall.
