The storm has passed--hopefully--and we have to thank the high heavens that Typhoon Glenda wasn't as bad as many had feared it to be. Fortunately, the tempest moved fast, and everything had gone back to normal (including the resumption of electric power supply) by noon. Glenda brought with her scary, howling winds. She toppled trees and electric posts, and peeled roof sheets off houses.
The photos of the aftermath you see here mostly show trees falling on cars, unlike the mostly floody images we got in the wake of Ondoy. Almost all of these were taken in Metro Manila, save for an image or two captured in Subic or other peripheral areas. We hope your car wasn't among Glenda's casualties this morning. Stay safe out there!
