Anyone here who’s been enjoying their free use of the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX)? Well, that’s set to change, as MPCALA Holdings and Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) will now begin collecting toll fees.
According to the latest advisory, toll rates for the newest CALAX interchange have just been approved by the Toll Regulatory Board. Collection will then commence starting February 10, 2024 at 12:01am. End-to-end usage will now cost P81 for Class 1, P163 for Class 2, and P244 for Class 3 vehicles.

The Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange opened back in November 2023. Currently, 12,000 vehicles use this part of CALAX daily, which is more than double the projected 5,000. Once completed, the full CALAX network will span 45km with eight interchanges in total.
“The implementation of these toll rates aids in the continuous maintenance and enhancement of our toll road while ensuring efficient and safe travel for our users,” said MPCALA Holdings Inc. president and general manager Raul L. Ignacio. “The Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange has become a vital part of our network, significantly enhancing the connectivity and economic landscape of the region.”
