Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City is the latest to have a car-free scheme on Sunday mornings, so if you’re around the area, here’s where you should go.
The stretch of Mayflower Street from United Street to Soho Central is closed to vehicular traffic from 6am to 10am on Sundays. That’s the stretch along The Hub, and also includes the area of Greenfield District Central Park.

This initiative began on December 3rd, joining the likes of Ayala Avenue and various Pasig City streets in going car-free on Sundays.
Greenfield District has also provided a handy map of parking locations for those dropping by to enjoy a stroll, a bike ride, and other outdoor activities. There are available slots at Mayflower Parking, Greenfield Tower, Twin Oaks Place, Soho Central, Zitan, and Pavilion.
There’s no announcement yet if Mayflower Street will be permanently car-free on Sunday mornings. In the case of Ayala Avenue, this initiative was set to last only until the end of September this year, but it was continued until the end of 2023.
