In case you’ll be staying in Metro Manila during Holy Week this year, train line operators have announced their schedules. Take note of them below, and plan your trips accordingly.
LRT-1 Holy Week 2024 schedule
The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) will be temporarily suspended from March 27 to 31, 2024. That’s Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday.
During the temporary shutdown, the line will undergo annual preventive maintenance, and mandatory testing activities will be carried out for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension, which is scheduled to open in the final quarter of 2024. The regular schedule will be observed until March 26, with first trains leaving from terminus stations at 4:30am, and last trains departing from Baclaran Station and Fernando Poe Jr. Station at 10pm and 10:15pm, respectively.
The LRT-1 will resume normal operations on April 1.

LRT-2 Holy Week 2024 schedule
Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2), meanwhile, will be suspended from Maundy Thursday on March 28 until March 31, 2024. Prior to that, shortened operating hours will be implemented on March 27. First trains will depart from Antipolo Station and Recto Station at 5am, and last trains will leave the same stations at 7pm.
The LRT-2 will resume normal operations on April 1, according to the advisory released by Light Rail Transit Authority.

MRT-3 Holy Week 2024 schedule
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced that operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will be suspended from March 28 to 31, 2024. Annual maintenance activities will be carried out during the temporary shutdown.
The MRT-3 will observe regular operating hours on March 27, with the first train departing from North Avenue Station at 4:30 and from Taft Avenue Station at 5:05am. The last train will leave North Avenue Station at 9:30pm and Taft Avenue Station at 10:09pm. Normal operations will resume on April 1.

PNR Holy Week 2024 schedule
Last week, the Philippine National Railways (PNR) already announced that the five-year suspension of its Metro Manila operations will begin on March 28. Specifically, the Governor Pascual–Tutuban and Tutuban-Alabang routes will be closed to help accelerate the construction of the North-South Commuter Railway.
