Yesterday, the Department of Transportation announced that a commuter-friendly concourse will replace the grueling, 30-foot-tall EDSA-Kamuning footbridge, also known as Mt. Kamuning.
The new Kamuning EDSA Busway concourse is expected to be operational in December later this year, and we now have an idea of what it will look like. Prior to these renders, the DOTr mentioned that the terminal will take shape after the SM North EDSA Busway concourse—most notably featuring elevators and guided walkways.

From the images, we can see that the new concourse has also adopted the design scheme from the ongoing EDSA Busway rehabilitation project.

Gone are the steep stairways that many commuters jokingly pride themselves on conquering. The new concourse will feature wider staircases, along with elevators and wheelchair lifts for PWDs and senior citizens. The walkways also seem to have wider overhangs that should better protect commuters from the harsh sun or storming rains.

The concourse itself features an expanded platform, with bigger signage to help commuters navigate through the terminal and the overall busway. If the new concourse indeed follows the blueprint from the rehabilitation project, then it should also be equipped with outposts for security personnel and custodial teams, as well as guided walkways for visually impaired commuters.
As per the rehabilitation project, the EDSA Busway stations at Monumento, Bagong Barrio, North Avenue, and Guadalupe will be renovated similarly, while new terminals at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange and Cubao will be constructed. These are expected to be completed between the second and third quarters of 2026.
