It looks like the Land Transportation Office isn’t playing around with this whole Yanna incident. After issuing a show cause order against the viral moto vlogger, the agency has now ordered Yanna to surrender her suspended driver’s license and bring her motorcycle to the next hearing.
This was after the first hearing was held earlier today, May 6, wherein the lady chose not to attend. According to the LTO’s statement, the legal counsel said that she did this “for security reasons, explaining that she received numerous threats and insults after the incident and especially after her address was exposed on social media.”

“We imposed a 90-day preventive suspension on her driver’s license as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident,” said LTO chief Atty. Vigor Mendoza II. “In the light of her absence during the hearing, we mandated her, through her legal counsel, to surrender her driver’s license. That is for her own good.”

The LTO will be inspecting the motorcycle Yanna was riding during the incident. It was also discovered that the said bike was not registered under her name.
LTO-Intelligence and Investigation Division chief Renante Melitante rescheduled another hearing on Thursday, May 8, where Yanna will have to surrender her license and bring the motorcycle. We’ll keep you posted then as soon as the LTO shares further updates.
