The Land Transportation Office (LTO) recently extended the registration validity of vehicles with plate numbers ending in 1. Now, the agency is doing the same for those with plates ending in 2.
According to the LTO’s recent announcement, motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in 2 will have their registrations extended to as far back as March 8, 2021, depending on the original registration schedule. You can check out the table below for more details:

The agency has kept extending the validity of motor vehicle registrations throughout the pandemic to avoid unnecessary crowds at LTO offices, so this should also come as good news to you car owners.
More important, with the LTO’s new Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS) in place, this extension will give you guys more time to make sure that your cars get the necessary repairs before you bring them in for inspection.
There you have it, motorists. Be advised and spread the word.
