Heads up, guys: Typhoon Tisoy is currently battering the Philippines, bringing strong winds, heavy rains, and the threat of flood to several parts of the country.
If, unfortunately, you reside in a flood-prone area and woke up this morning surprised by the deluge, you’re probably already thinking of a place where you can safely park your vehicle. Worry not, because if a major mall is nearby, chances are it can shelter your car—maybe even for free.
Several mall chains have already announced they will be helping out motorists during the onslaught of Typhoon Tisoy. Exactly what type of parking fees will be waived and what services they’ll offer will vary depending on the establishment, so read on below to see what assistance they’re offering:
Even the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) will be offering vehicles refuge. From today until tomorrow morning, the PITX will be waiving its parking fees for motorists affected by Typhoon Tisoy’s downpour.
Stay safe and stay dry, everyone. Here’s to hoping Typhoon Tisoy makes its way out of the Philippines sooner rather than later. And if we missed any malls, please let us know in the comments so we can update this story accordingly.
