If you’ve been seeing claims of No-Contact Apprehension (NCAP) coming back soon, then you’re not alone. A certain photo has been circulating around social media (and Viber groups) saying that NCAP is in effect immediately.

So, what’s the real score? Well, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has debunked that and would like to remind the public (again) that it remains suspended.

Now, this isn’t the first time NCAP-related posts have spread all over social media. Every time one comes up, the MMDA has had to release statements that it is still not in effect.

So, when will we know NCAP’s implementation? For starters, the information will be relayed through official sources such as the MMDA, Supreme Court, and government news agencies such as the People’s Television Network (PTV) and Philippine News Agency (PNA).

Until the Supreme Court lifts the temporary restraining order, No-Contact Apprehension remains up in the air.
