Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa is coming to Manila next month--most likely on September 17 or 18--to show support to one of his team's sponsors. The sponsor, who requested not to be named at this point, is giving one lucky Top Gear Philippines reader a chance to meet the Brazilian driver in person.
The 32-year-old Massa, who currently lies seventh in the championship standings with 61 points, is said to be doing a quick visit to the country to endorse the above-mentioned sponsor. He could fly in by noon and then leave by late evening.
In 2008, Massa came oh-so-close to winning the world title by finishing the season just a point behind champion Lewis Hamilton of McLaren. He had moved to Scuderia Ferrari in 2006 to partner with the legendary Michael Schumacher. He had begun his F1 career with Sauber, entering the sport in 2002. At Ferrari, Massa has driven alongside champions Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso since Schumacher retired at the end of the 2006 season.
Can you guess which company is responsible for Felipe Massa's Philippine visit next month?
