Just a day after he won the 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel flew to Russia and sampled a portion of the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, which is scheduled to be added to the 2014 Formula 1 calendar, right after the Winter Olympics is held in the same venue.
Together with former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard, Vettel drove on a portion of the track--which is still under construction--in an Infiniti FX Vettel Edition and other products from the luxury carmaker.
Once completed, the nearly 6km Sochi Olympic Park Circuit will be the third-longest circuit on the F1 calendar behind Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and Silverstone in Britain.
This isn't the first time Vettel has sampled a planned Grand Prix venue. In June 2012, Vettel drove the first-ever lap of the planned New Jersey circuit in the United States in an Infiniti IPL G Coupe.
