We wish our hands were skilled enough to make scale models as good as these

Now this is what we call attention to detail

There are scale model enthusiasts, and then there are those who make the hobby look like a damn art form. The Bangkok-based builders from Akara Studio fall squarely into the latter category.

Frankly, the studio’s official Instagram account is a must-follow whether you’re into scale models or not. The attention to detail seen in its models is one thing, but the minuscule size Akara applies its skill to take the hobby to impressive new heights.

Our favorite so far? The 1:64 Pandem Honda Civic EG6 seen above. If it weren’t for the hand in the shot, one might easily mistake it for a real car from afar. Akara’s even made a miniature version of the cyberpunk motorbike from Akira, as well as Akira Nakai of Rauh-Welt Begriff fame.

The most impressive pieces we’ve come across, though, sit on two wheels instead of four. Akara’s microscopic (figuratively, of course) motorbikes can literally fit on the head of a match. We can only imagine how painstaking it must have been to apply the level of detail seen here to something so small.

You can check out more of Akara Studio’s work in the Instagram posts below. Given the spare time, do you think you can come up with builds with similar attention to detail? Let us know in the comments.
