Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has chosen to close out what has been a very busy year so far with an even bigger bang: It confirmed that the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe is now bound for our market.
During that very announcement, HMPH was kind enough to have some of us lucky members of the media to get up close and personal with the next-generation midsize SUV. It’s as boxy as advertised, and we reckon it’ll surely be a looker once it starts rolling out on public roads.

The inside is as impressive as the exterior, as the SUV looks pretty loaded with all the bells and whistles Hyundai has on offer. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a key during the preview, so we weren’t able to at least switch the vehicle to accessory mode to see what tech it has on it.
Also, these were merely preview units and weren’t the exact Philippines-spec models we’ll be getting here, so no confirmation about powertrain whatsoever just yet. We’re just keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll be getting both the turbocharged and hybrid options here. Of course, no word on pricing just yet.
Anyway, HMPH will be launching this within the first quarter of next year, so we won’t have to wait that long anymore. For now, you can just click play on the embedded video below to see more.
