Hyundai Motor Philippines has expanded its electrified lineup with the new Staria Hybrid. The van joins the Santa Fe, Tucson, and Palisade in offering comfortable hybrid options to fit the entire family.

The van is now the first in Hyundai’s lineup to feature Bluelink. This connected car service platform allows the owner to receive real-time traffic and weather updates directly from the infotainment system without connecting a smartphone. Variants and prices of the Hyundai Staria Hybrid 2027:

The Staria Hybrid retains the futuristic styling of the diesel models and is available in three colors: Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl, and Shimmering Silver Metallic. The van comes in five variants, with seven-seater, nine-seater, and 11-seater options.

The Staria Hybrid has a starting price of P1,999,000 for the nine-seater GL variant. The 11-seater GL is priced at P2,079,000, while the higher trim nine-seater GLS stickers for P2,389,000. Meanwhile, the Premium nine-seater variant is available for P2,999,000, while the top-of-the-line Premium Plus seven-seater stickers for P3,199,000. You can check out the full price list below.

As mentioned, the van retains the futuristic styling introduced with the diesel models. It still has the digital pixel-like taillights, slim LED light bar, and streamlined silhouette. 

It measures 5,253mm long, 1,997mm wide, and 1,990mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,273mm. Some exterior features that distinguish the Staria Hybrid are its updated 18-inch alloy wheels (for the Premium and Premium Plus), redesigned front grille, and cube-projection LED headlamps.

Starting with the passenger area, the Staria Hybrid can be had with an 11-seat, nine-seat, or seven-seat layout. Seat materials can range from fabric, leatherette, leather, and nappa leather, depending on the variant. The Premium Plus seven-seater variant gets Power-Adjust Relaxation Seats, which feature a reclining backrest, a tilting headrest, and four-way leg support.

The sliding doors are power-operated on the GLS, Premium, and Premium Plus variants, while the GL variants get manual sliding doors. Other features include a Bose 12-speaker sound system on the Premium and Premium Plus, as well as a power-operated sunroof on the top-of-the-line variant. 

Moving on to the front row, the Premium and Premium Plus variants get a 12.3-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, while the GL and GLS variants utilize a 4.2-inch TFT instrument panel. All variants get a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Bluetooth voice recognition.

Powering the Staria Hybrid is a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine paired to an electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission. This is the same setup found in the Santa Fe and Tucson hybrids. The hybrid system delivers a combined 245hp and 265Nm of torque. Hyundai says the van’s fuel consumption is rated at 17.7km/L

The Staria Hybrid features Hyundai SmartSense, a full suite of driver-assistance systems for safety and convenience. The GL and GLS variants get conventional cruise control, forward and reverse parking distance warning, and a rearview monitor.

Meanwhile, upgrading to the Premium and Premium Plus will give you additional features such as lane-following and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, forward collision avoidance assist, and a surround-view monitor.

The GLS, Premium, and Premium Plus variants get driver, passenger, side, and curtain airbags, while the GL variants only get driver and passenger airbags. All variants come standard with a tire-pressure monitoring system.
