Usually, updates like this come at least a couple of years into a generation’s lifespan. This wasn’t the case for the Terra, as the Japanese car manufacturer saw it fit to make several changes—some minor, some pretty substantial—to its local midsize SUV offering for 2019.
As we reported a few days ago, the Terra gets a slightly altered V-Motion front grille with a darker appearance. Higher variants wear a tailgate spoiler at the rear, too. Inside, the vehicle receives an updated instrument cluster and multi-information display, as well as a noticeably bigger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. This screen is now also responsible for displaying feeds from Nissan’s Around View Monitor.
Again, no changes have been made to the car’s mechanicals. Under the hood is the same 2.5-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine with an output of 187hp and 450Nm of torque. There is a new set of prices, though. Here they are again in case you missed them:
