There's no arguing that Kia's right up there with the best of them when it comes to designing fun-looking cars. The latest example of the Korean carmaker's quirkiness has to be the upcoming Picanto and the current Sportage. The most eccentric though? It's still the Soul.

The boxy little ride's peculiar image and chunky proportions are definitely one of its main draws. And with a two-tone paint job? It reminds us of a Mini! Those large wheels and bulky fenders give it a slight macho vibe about it, too. I've always called this vehicle a 'refrigerator on wheels.' And trust me when I say that's not a knock on it by any means.

It's a practical car to drive as well. There's plenty of room inside, large windows provide great visibility, and its 1.6-liter diesel engine does a respectable job both in the city and out on the open highway.

If you're looking to stand out amidst all the city cars, midsize SUVs and crossovers, the Kia Soul is definitely worth checking out. Want to see more of this funky mobile fridge? Just press play on the short video embedded above.
