The ‘Knight Rider’ theme being played on eight cellos will make your day

Okay now it’s in our head

News reached Top Gear earlier this week that classic ’80s TV series Knight Rider is being rebooted into a new movie. And thus, the campaign to have this simply wonderful rendition as its main theme tune starts here.

It’s a rendition performed by cellist Samara Ginsberg, who deployed one single cello eight times over to record this classical take on the music that introduced the world to Michael Knight and KITT.

Some of you may already be familiar with this small slice of magic, recorded as it was at the height of the UK’s lockdown back in May. For those of you who are new to this, sit back, turn it up, and enjoy.

Hollywood movie producers, you know what to do.
