An enthusiast's love for his car knows no bounds. We've come across stories of car guys bringing their rides inside the house or spending ludicrous sums on lavish garages. The bond between man and machine is really something.

One dude here in the Philippines though is taking his passion for wheels a step further. Ian, a lifelong Mercedes-Benz fan, has made the iconic German carmaker's vehicles a part of his home. Literally. With the help of a friend, Ian turned a Mercedes-Benz 280SE into various furniture pieces for his man-cave.

Seats became sofas, the engine into a coffee table, and a bar display was built out of various Mercedes wheel designs. They even cut the shell of the vehicle in half, and it's now planted right there in the room. Nothing seems to have gone to waste and the whole project took them 10 months. Judging from the results, the time was well worth it.

Eventually, Ian hopes to build an entire concept store dedicated to Mercedes-inspired interiors. Want to see more of Ian's pad? Press play on the video above.
