The new Nissan Kicks e-Power has officially landed in the Philippines. This subcompact crossover had quite the odyssey to our local market, first making its regional debut in Bangkok.
A couple of months later, Nissan previewed it at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, where its pending local launch was confirmed. Since then, the Kicks has been the subject of speculation regarding its lineup and price.
However, as of August 28, all rumors were put to rest as Nissan Philippines rolled out the subcompact crossover into the local market. We now have the full picture, so let’s break it down. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2027 Nissan Kicks e-Power.

The new Nissan Kicks e-Power is offered in three variants, with prices starting at P1.499 million. The lineup then tops out at P1.749 million for the fully loaded LE Plus variant.

For this release, the Kicks sports an overhauled design, while retaining its subcompact frame. It measures 4,300mm long, 1,760mm wide, and 1,615mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm—but its retooled look gives it a more imposing impression.
That is primarily due to its updated fascia, which has thinner triple-arrow-shaped headlamps to complement an expansive grille. The hood then features aesthetic curves that add a little bit more height to its overall frame. Across the lineup, the Kicks gets 17-inch alloys wrapped in 205/55 R17 tires, but those who opt for the base variant will get more basic headlights. At the same time, only the top-of-the-line LE Plus variant comes with roof rails.
Around back, its tailgate has also been completely redesigned, with a new angular shape and big metallic letters spelling out Kicks slapped across the door. Speaking of angles, the rear bumper slopes downwards to match the look of the trunk door, while a thin spoiler on top ties everything together.

Inside, the VE and VL variants are upholstered in anti-heat leather with a black and dark grey finish. Meanwhile, the LE Plus gets a distinct Moonstone color, but with the same leather material.
The rest of the five-seater cabin is also dressed in anti-heat leather, as all variants share a D-shaped steering wheel and a seven-inch digital instrument panel. A 12.3-inch infotainment display is also standard, but the upper two variants get an improved six-speaker audio setup, while the base VE trim gets a four-speaker system.
While dual USB-C ports are found on all variants, a wireless charging pad is reserved for the LE Plus. The fully loaded trim also gets a tonneau cover, while the other two do not. Cargo space, however, is similar across the lineup with 470 liters.
Powertrain and specs of the Nissan Kicks e-Power 2027:
Like the model that came before it, the Kicks is still propelled by a single front-mounted AC synchronous motor, which is then powered by a 2.06kWh lithium ion battery and a 1.2-liter gasoline-powered generator.
It is then rated for 134hp and 280Nm of torque, with power managed by a single-speed gear reduction automatic transmission. Motorists can tinker with Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes, along with Nissan’s e-Pedal Step setting for better performance and fuel efficiency.
Under the metal, Nissan has equipped the Kicks with a MacPherson strut suspension setup at the front and a torsion beam around back. For stopping power, a ventilated disc brake can be found up front, while a basic disc has been mounted at the rear.

Nissan has updated the Kicks with the latest version of its suite of advanced driver-assistance features, ProPilot. Each variant is equipped with a different set of functions, with the fully loaded LE Plus getting the works.
Notably, all trims get a driver-attention alert system, blind spot warnings, and forward-facing collision alerts and emergency braking functions. However, the Kicks LE Plus also gets the full NissanConnect service stack, with in-app functionality and additional emergency protocols.
