Last week, we reported that Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) had unveiled the face-lifted Wigo. At the time, all we had to go on was one photo and a press release describing all the new features onboard. Well, now we have a few more visuals of the mini hatchback.
As we shared before, the biggest change in the Wigo lies under the hood. Now it's got a 1.0-liter VVT-i mill that does 65hp and 89Nm. Hopefully, it improves on the pre-facelift model's somewhat sluggish engine performance. From the rear, we can see that the taillights now have a sharper and more angular design. The rear bumper gets a new look, too, along with new vents. Underneath are stylish new 14-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the changes are minimal. The touchscreen monitor, seat patterns, and door trims all get a new look, while the steering wheel now has audio controls. The A/C control panel has been modified slightly as well.
It might not sound like much on paper, but we're pretty fond of this new-look Wigo. Do you guys agree?
