Remember the Sundiro Honda S07? How about the Muji Honda MS01? We’re sure some of you do, especially if you follow Top Gear Philippines. Those things went viral throughout the course of 2023.
The units we previously tested came from a shop called Popcycle Ebike Center, a name some of you might also recall. Well, that shop is back with its own new brand and an entirely new product, the Sulong Pop.

Sulong is Popcycle’s new brand, and the Pop is its first-ever model. It’s an electric two-wheeler, of course, and it’s got quite the quirky colors. But before we get to that, let’s talk specs.
The Pop will be powered by a 72v30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a 1,500W motor. Top speed is 45kph in Eco mode and 70kph in Sport mode. Estimated range with a single charge is about 85km for Eco, 70km for Sport. Charging time from zero to 100% is said to be about seven hours. As for restrictions, you’ll need a driver’s license and registration to operate this one.
The e-bike gets 12-inch front and rear wheels with disc brakes on both ends. It has a 1,130mm wheelbase and weighs 74kg with the battery equipped. Maximum load capacity is 215kg or about two adults. Six colors are available in total, namely: Jade, Pulp, Oat, Bloom, Stark, and Pebble.
The Pop stickers for P79,000 and comes with a helmet, backrest, and rear rack all for free. You’ll have to shell extra for a topbox, though. We’ll review the Pop as soon as we get our hands on a unit. But for now, tell us what you think of this new local brand in the comments.
