Former Top Gear TV host Richard Hammond has always been known to be a huge gearhead. However, we’re used to seeing him driving cars...not riding bikes.
Which is why it may come as a surprise to many that Hammond is actually a massive motorcycle fan. He’s a bike guy through and through, and he has quite the collection to show for—one he recently shared on DriveTribe.

Hammond owns a wide range of bikes, mostly classics, from many different brands. There are plenty of vintage BMWs with the O.G. boxer engines, like the original R90 S and the R100 RT. There’s also one which Hammond says is from 1929, so if our research is correct, it’s a BMW R63.

It’s not just German bikes in the lineup, because there are Italian and Japanese two-wheelers, too. There are a few gorgeous classic supersports like the Kawasaki ZX-750, the Ducati 916, and the Suzuki GSX-R1100. There’s also a pristine-looking Suzuki Katana and Ducati 900SS in the midst of everything. Of course, there are British bikes, like a Norton and a few Triumph steeds here and there.
Surprisingly, there are a few Indians in the mix—both from Royal Enfield and the actual motorcycle brand Indian. Now, the question is, does Hammond regularly ride any of these? Well, just click play on the video below to find out.
