A new public space focused on road safety and education is set to open in Muntinlupa City very soon. Officially called the Muntinlupa Road Safety Park, the facility’s main focus is to help children understand responsible and safe road use.
Spanning 3,140sqm, the park will feature a comprehensive road network, complete with simulated walkways and cycleways. These will be outfitted with bike lane classifications, a dedicated demonstration area, and a separate space for road signage education. Kids will also be able to learn about commuting, as the park will also have replicated public transportation spots and railway stations.

In a statement made on February 11, 2026, the Department of Transportation confirmed that the park is 94% completed and is set to be inaugurated on March 2.

Once fully open, it will join Quezon City’s Tamang Asal Sa Kalsada Central Hub as another public space where kids can learn about road safety. The hub is located at the Presidential Car Museum in Quezon Memorial Circle, and like the upcoming park in Muntinlupa, it features interactive displays about traffic safety and road etiquette.
It’s great to see more spaces like these popping up, and we hope that more cities begin to adopt these initiatives. Would your locality benefit from a road safety park? Let us know in the comments.
