For most people, Rowan Atkinson is known as a comedian. Whether it’s as Mr. Bean, Johnny English, or if you’re into classic British comedies, Edmund Blackadder, Atkinson’s acting chops are legendary.
But for car enthusiasts, Rowan Atkinson is more than just an actor. A dyed in the wool petrolhead, the man has been collecting cars and driving them hard for decades. He’s even an established motoring journalist, occasionally sending columns to various British motoring publications.

Over the years, Atkinson has acquired and sold some of the most iconic cars ever made. Some highlights include a Mercedes-Benz 500E, Lancia Delta Integrale, a rather humdrum Land Rover Defender, and, of course, the (twice-crashed) McLaren F1. But now, there’s another one to add to the list.
Up for sale is the actor’s 2012 Lexus LFA. It’s one of the 198 right-hand drive examples out of the 500 ever made. How much, you ask? You’re looking at a cool £874,995. At current conversion rates, that’s around P62.3 million.

Yes, that’s a lot of cash, that asking price is just a little above the LFA’s market value. Remember, Lexus’ first (and, so far, only) supercar cost over $400,000 over a decade ago and its value has been going up ever since. We doubt Atkinson sold the car to try and make bank, though.

What about the deets? The actor’s Lexus LFA is finished in Pearl White instead of the ‘usual’ (so weird to say that in a rare car) Whitest White offered at the time. Inside, however, is where things get a little more, um, colorful. The carpets and headliner are finished in bright red, while the lower section of the dash and seats are in blue Alcantara. As for the dash, that one is in grey.

The engine is bone stock which shouldn’t come much of a surprise. That means its 4.8-liter V10 punches out 553hp and 480Nm of torque. The sprint to 100kph is done in just 3.7 seconds and its engine can push the car all the way to 326kph. The engine in Rowan Atkinson’s car is pretty fresh, too, having just covered less than 5,000 kilometers.
So, any takers?
