Earlier this year, we were lucky enough to witness the regional launch of the all-new Subaru Impreza in Singapore. We were luckier still when just a short while later, Motor Image Pilipinas lent us a unit for a day to feature in our April issue. With a 2.0-liter boxer engine capable of 154hp and 196Nm at our disposal, we were eager and grateful for the opportunity.
The fifth-generation Impreza, naturally, is equipped with all-wheel drive. Design-wise, it sports a more mature look that's a slight deviation from its rally roots. It's built around the carmaker's new global platform, resulting in a stiffer chassis, better handling, and a more refined ride. It rolls out of Subaru dealerships at P1.388 million a pop.
