Spec-sheet brawl: Suzuki Ciaz vs. Nissan Almera

Subcompact showdown
by Jason Tulio | Jun 8, 2017

When you think of subcompact sedans, the first name that usually comes to mind is the Toyota Vios. After that, it's likely the Honda City. The two cars listed in this fight might not always be top-of-mind in their segment, but they're still worth examining.

In one corner, we've got the Suzuki Ciaz. It has a 1.4-liter mill that delivers 92hp and 130Nm, and offers a massive 495L of luggage space on top of its already spacious interior. In the other corner is the Nissan Almera, with its 1.5-liter engine that puts out 98hp and 134Nm. It also has a cavernous interior, and nearly as much storage room with 490L. Neither contender is as popular as the aforementioned Vios, but in face-off against each other, it's a tight contest.
